Behind the captivating beauty of YLAY Resort is Dr. Melchie Ambalong, a respected figure in the local community and the President of the Mindanao Power Consumers Federation. As an advocate of Peace and Multiculturalism, she founded the Office of the Higay-onon, Maranao, and Other Cultural Communities (OMHaCC) and secured funding to construct the Ethic Center in Iligan.
Motivated by her profound affection for Iligan City and a vision to craft a unique and special place to unwind, Dr. Ambalong transformed the concept of YLAY Resort into a vibrant reality.
